We are currently seeking gifts to help us complete our work. TBRC is funded entirely by private donations and operates with a small core staff and project-oriented consultants. Our New York City offices are provided by the Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation. Thus, because TBRC has low overhead costs, your gifts have a direct impact on TBRC's work. TBRC is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. All donations are tax deductible.


Please consider the following gifts.

  1. General Support

    General support of any TBRC program in any one of the four strategic areas - seeking out, preserving, organizing, or disseminating. Donation:

    • General support of any TBRC program in any one of the four strategic areas - seeking out, preserving, organizing, or disseminating.
    • Publication of a specific genre of literature, such as traditional medicine.
    • Preservation of a particular collection or genre.

  2. Installation of the TBRC Library at a particular monastery.

    This donation includes all the hardware and software to plug and play the TBRC Library anywhere there is electricity. Please specify the monastery you would like the Library installed at. Donation: $2,500


  3. Words of Lord Buddha

    Includes the Derge Edition of the Tibetan Kanjur and Tenjur on an amulet flash drive. This is a perfect gift for a monk, practitioner or Lama or for personal use such as a home shrine. The donation includes the digital texts in PDF form on a flash drive with a searchable index. Donation: $500


  4. Selected works from the TBRC Library

    TBRC makes a limited number works from the TBRC Library available. The following is our donation schedule.

    • Public ............................. $10 per volume
    • Monasteries and Lamas ....... Free

    In cases of hardship, please write a note to info@tbrc.org with your request.

    To make your request for a selected text from the TBRC Library, please donate using the online service above and itemize your list in the form there. Once we receive the donation, we will respond with a email letter of acknoledgement and instructions for downloading. For large collections, additional fees for media and shipping may be required.
